Vigilantism is the private enforcement of state laws. The legalisation of vigilantism would allow proportionate responses to crime by individuals and communities.

A 'parenting license' means permission from the government for adults to have and raise their own children. Parenting licenses could be tied to specific conditions, like knowledge of healthy eating, proper care of emotional, mental or physical well-being, or having enough money to pay for the child's basic needs.

Laos is a landlocked developing country that is starting to recover from a war-torn past. Laos aims to be the Battery of Southeast Asia by building hydropower dams to power the region, develop its economy, and lift its people out of poverty. These developments, which are mainly financed through loans provided by China, have received backlash from downstream countries (Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam) who criticized these dams, and other dams in southern China, for contributing to droughts and ecological harms to the Indochina region.

For the sake of this debate, Khmerglish is the mixed usage of both Khmer and English interchangeably during the course of a conversation, which may include the usage of romanized Khmer spelling when used to write words in text, or using common English words like "You" or "Me" within a sentence to substitute the Khmer equivalent when conversing orally.
